What is the return policy?
Exchange or Return Policy: Unworn moccasins in new condition within 14 days of purchase. Shipping is non refundable unless you request it. Then we will refund it.
How should moccasins fit?
A perfect moccasin fit is based on your own preference. If you like your moccasins to fit snuggly like a shoe then you should get a smaller size. If you want your moccasins to slip on really easily then you should get a larger size. Remember leather moccasins are designed to mold an shape to your feet so they will stretch and shape to your foot as they break in.
How long do moccasins take to break in?
Your moccasins should start to break in within a few hours or days. Wear them on soft surfaces like carpet or rugs to make sure they do not scuff in case you need to return them. After several days the moccasins should be stretched out and molded to your feet.
What leather do you use?
We use American Bison Leather also known as buffalo, bull hide, and cow hide to make Old Bernard Moccasins. Buffalo hide and bull hide are both supple and durable. Buffalo leather is more stretchy and has a looser grain and bull hide is the opposite. Bull hide is less stretchy and has a tighter grain which is better for outdoor wear. Buffalo hide is a bit more flexible and soft so it is better suited for indoor wearing.
What size should I get?
Our moccasins are true to size and are constructed to be generous to allow for easy slip-on comfort.
People tend to wear a larger sneaker size shoe than a dress shoe or loafer.
When choosing a size you need to consider if you are going to be wearing them with or without socks.
If you have a somewhat wide foot our leather will stretch and mold and are designed for medium to wide feet.
If your new moccasins do not fit you perfectly we offer exchanges for unworn condition.
